“Empowered youth are the catalysts for positive change”

V.I.B.E. Council

The V.I.B.E. Council is a space for transition-aged youth (16 to 24 year olds) to talk about the unique mental health challenges they face and to explore ways to engage in prevention work of their own!

The V.I.B.E. Council meets weekly to do a Vibe Check, learn about prevention methods, and plan a monthly Vibe Event.

Email youth@fairbankswellness.org to learn more about the V.I.B.E. Council and discuss how you can get involved!

Whether it’s peer-to-peer outreach, prevention messaging campaigns, or advocacy, FWC is here to empower youth voices!

The FWC Youth Mini-grants are intended for youth-led or youth-serving organizations to engage in outreach, programs, and projects focused on upstream prevention. That can include teen drinking, social isolation, mental health stigma, recognizing and responding to signs of suicide, and more. If you have questions about whether your group or project is a good fit for this funding, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Applications will be reviewed by the FWC Funding Workgroup on a monthly basis until the funds have been dispersed, with a final review in the month of March 2026.
